Walking within La Penita is easy. I am 5 blocks to el centro through town or a quick 5 minute walk along the beach. There you can find anything you will need during your stay - banks, shops, groceries, restaurants, bars. If you want to visit a nearby town, attraction or beach, taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. Many of my guests stay for several months and walk or take taxis. Others want to venture farther afield so they rent a car, or schedule an outing with many of the available tour guides. The choice is yours, depending on your plans.
