How to get there
Access to the Byres by car on the A 3102. Currently google maps take you to a bungalow near the pub-not us ! We are 600 metres approx from the Westbrook pub in the direction of Melksham.
Chippenham has the nearest large railway station, although there are stations in Melksham and Trowbridge.
Getting around
A car is vital to access all local tourist sites and all towns and villages. A walk to Bromham is feasible as long as you bring stout footwear. There you will find a village store,a butcher’s and an excellent village pub serving good food and drink.
