Getting around
It is useful to have a car to see the surrounding area. There are shops and market stalls within 5-10 minutes from the house, and the closest supermarket is half a kilometre away. We have a list of taxi services at the house, and there are organised tours of Sarlat and the surrounding area, especially to gardens and castles, which you can book to go on.
