How to get there
York is in North Yorkshire, North East England and is easily accessible from all parts of the UK. The most convenient airport to York is Manchester, although it is not the nearest you can get a train directly from the airport terminal to York, about one to one half hour journey. Leeds Bradford airport is the nearest airport and there is a bus service to York from there. From the train station in York a taxi is best if you have heavy luggage, just 4 or 5 mins drive through the centre. York station is however close enough to the apartment to walk, detailed directions can be given should you take this option. For those of you driving there is a secure car park in front of the building with a reservation for one car.

Getting around
As the apartment is very central in York there is no need for transport, all amenities in York are accessible by foot. If you wish to travel to the coastal regions you are on the right side of York to access the A64 coastal road which is very close.
