The villa is located close to the coast and about 2 km to the west of Carvoeiro, a traditional Portuguese fishing village, about 45 minutes drive west of Faro Airport. There are several car hire firms at the airport (Alamo, Autojardim, Avis, Budget, Hertz, National and others) or, alternatively, you can get a taxi to the villa at a cost of around 65 euros. It is an easy, well-signed drive from the airport to join the Algarve motorway (A 22) where you head west towards Portimao. Turn off the A 22 at the Lagoa exit and follow signs to Lagoa Sud and, as you come abeam of the town at some traffic lights on the N 125, turn right for Carvoeiro. The owner will send directions to cover the final 5 km from Lagoa.
