Murcia (San Javier) airport is 15 minutes drive away and is served by Ryanair, Monarch, Easyjet, bmibaby, Jet2 and Flybe. Ryanair fly from Stansted and their one way fares start at just £12.00. They operate daily flights throughout the school holidays, with Easter flights starting at £21.99 one way and summer flight from £44.99 one way.

Alicante airport is around 45 minutes away and is serviced by AerLingus, bmibaby, British Airways, Easyjet, Flybe, Flythomascook, FlyGlobespan, Jet2, LTE Int'l, Monarch, Ryanair and Thomsonfly.

Both airports have a number of car hire firms, though Murcia airport has a limited number operating in the terminal itself, two of them being Centauro and Solmar. Other companies, including Hertz and Avis operate from the car park and offsite offices. We generally use either Centauro, booked direct, or Solmar, which we have used through easycar.com. Centauro's rates are very good, although their cars are often a little battered and it's vital that you go round the car when you first arrive and indicate any marks or dents on the hire agreement.
