How to get there

From the UK / Calais / Rouen If you are not using the Autoroute, and you are on the N138 and you need to turn off at Le Hutte and head for Fresnay sur Sarthe.

If you are using the A28 Autoroute exit at J20 for Fresnay sur Sarthe. You will cross a railway line and reach a big junction and the road you cross over is the N138. This is at La Hutte, and you need to go straight on heading towards Fresnay sur Sarthe.

Before you reach Fresnay, at a smallish roundabout, turn right heading to Alpes Mancelles, keep on this new road and there are possibly 2 roundabouts but keep heading towards the Alpes Mancelles and Souge le Ganleon.

Stay on this road, and after a few miles you arrive in the village of Souge le Ganleon where you will see a few shops set back on your left. A chemists, hairdressers, La Poste, Carrefour and petrol station, carry on and just at the end of the church, you need to take the left turn quite sharp. Stay to your right just after this as the road forks, head for Mont St Jean on the D112 bis. We are about 6 miles from Souge le Ganleon, just off this road.

You will cross a river on a bridge, then pass through a small hamlet called La Chapelle 70km zone and you may spot the TINY chapel, the last building on your left. There are 2 very small sets of cross roads but go straight on at both of these. Not long at all after the 2nd cross road junction, you will see a red and white post / bollard on your right.

As soon as you spot it, slow down as you need to turn Right down the road that it is on the corner of. On the junction there is also a small black sign for Les Perrieres. Once you have turned off, we are just around the corner to your left. There is a sign saying LE JARRIER on the left of the drive. At the bottom of the drive, you will see the gite to your left and main farmhouse and Apartment are on the other side of the driveway to your right. The parking for the Apartment next to it and is reserved for our Apartment guests.

If you have a TOM TOM, Le Jarrier is on the more recent models, if not, I do know that LES PERRIERES, St Georges le Gaultier does come up on most models. They are just around the corner from us on the same side of the road. The area code 72130 is too big to us to find us as it covers about 20 miles or so and several villages.

OR - If you come directly into the village of St Georges le Gaultier, the following will direct you to Le Jarrier as we are about one and a half miles out of the village. You are likely to arrive at the top end of the village and the road leads down to the church past the hairdressers and another shop which is a Bakery, Post Office and General Store. Take the second left turn after the church almost immediately after the first left, and head for the Viaduct. About 1/4 mile from the village is a little bridge and the Viaduct and small parking area on your left & a sign advertising the Bungie Jump. Carry straight on for about a quarter mile if that, and there is a right turn. Take that and then quite soon after, the road splits, take the turn to the right at a house called Le Fuye. The last bit is about a quarter of a mile, ignore the turn to the right. You then pass a farm on your right called Les Perrieres and we are LE JARRIER next right (just after the Ducherie which is on your left).
