Approx 40 minutes transfer time by car heading East from Malaga Airport to the villa. An easy drive along the A7, exiting at Km 940 Torrox exit, and then a couple of minutes coastal drive towards Nerja. Nerja itself is a fairly small area, a hire car is ideal, although parking can be tricky in Nerja in high season. If you don't fancy driving on holiday you can easily get out and about without too much trouble. Taxis come when called within 5 minutes, any time of day or night. Approx 14€ to Nerja for 4 people. There is also a local bus stop just across the road that is the Nerja - Málaga route with a regular scheduled service. All the times are in the information pack in the villa and you can check online using the free wifi for any updates. There is no train in Nerja, just buses, but the services are good. For example Nerja - Frigiliana is 1.20€ per journey and the times are set, it is a great service.
