How to get there
Finding Whitstable Is not difficult either by Train,Road or Bus but Parking and Traffic can be a problem.Especially at w/ends!There is On-street parking outside or nearby but it is for anyone to park(not residential in other words).So you have to hope for a space nearby anytime you drive in.I can advise on Car Parks which are numerous and the biggest long stay car park is very close to the house at Morrell tank(approx 2 mins walk).
On occasion I might even be able to reserve an on-street space for you by parking there myself before you arrive and then moving for you to park!
Getting around
Canterbury within 7 miles and a good bus ride from Whitstable.You can buy a Rover ticket too if you want to Explore East Kent by Bus.As far as Folkestone and Ramsgate are possible but personally if you want to go to Thanet use the train which also goes around the coast to Deal and Folkestone as well.The station is 10 mins walk away and the train are twice an hour.
