Do have local transportation and many times able to catch a ride with expats going into Manta. Taxi are $8 to 10. No problem for weekly,shopping trip to Manta. I shop often and am able to include all for grocery shopping.

For first time it's best to take a $15 taxi from the Manta airport to The Donkey Den Guesthouse and from the Manta bus station the taxi is $8. Many times pick up is available
