How to get there
Guests must fly into Medan, preferably on an early flight as the last flights out from Medan to Nias (Gunungsitoli) are between 12:00 & 13:30. It's preferable to fly to Nias with Garuda airlines as they dont over charge for surfboards. We can arrange these flights if you like. We can also arrange a taxi from Gunungsitoli airport to Sirombu where our boat will be waiting to take you to paradise.
Getting around
Most of Asu has'nt changed for many years and has narrow jungle paths for us to travel on. You can explore further by walking around the island in 3 hours. Surf-guided boat trips are done on favourable swell and wind conditions to other waves in the area. For boat trips to the other surf breaks or for fishing/diving trips we ask the guests to cover the fuel costs.
