How to get there
You can reach Chania either by plane to Souda International Airport (CHQ) or by boat to Chania port. The distance between La maison Fabre and the city of Chania is 20km (30 min by car).
Directions by car:
Take the national road. In Platanias junction you turn left (on the way to kato Gerani. After 1,5 km you'll reach Kato Gerani where you follow the road to Modi. On the next Junction you follow the road to Pano Gerani (the junction goes also left to Modi but you go straght to Pano Gerani. Entering to Pano Gerani village you follow the road till you see the village church (Agios Eleutherios). After you pass the church you turn right on the first road (dirt road). This road drives you direct to the property.

Getting around
It is highly recommended to have a car. In a driving distance 5 - 30 min , through an unspoiled Cretan landscape, you can reach some beautiful beaches (Gerani , Platanias and more), and some important archaeological sites (Ancient Phalasarna, Archaeological Museum and more) . The closest market is on the village of Ano Gerani (2km)
