When you cross the big bridge coming onto Edisto Island it is 2 miles -- you will cross an open marsh area which is Sand Creek and then the trees will look like they touch each other. On the left you will see Russell Creek Drive in the trees. If you come to Russell Creek bridge you have gone too far.
