How to get there
We have four local airports within two hours driving distance of El Sueño - Malaga (2.5 hours) and Gibraltar (1.5 hour) to the South East, with Seville (2 hours) and Jerez (1 hour) to the North East. We can also provide advice on national and regional train travel to our closest stations of Cadiz, Jerez or Algeciras, as well as recommend car hire and local taxis. There are good local bus routes between all the main towns, with the closest main bus stop about 3km at the base of Vejer hill. However, for both overall price and ease of use, we highly recommended hiring a car to explore the area.

Getting around
Some of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz are just 10 minutes away by car - our Information Book gives details of over a dozen!) Breezier Tarifa is less than 30 minutes away for those wishing to try kite-surfing. The beautiful white village of Vejer de la Frontera is just 8 miss by car, with the seaside villages and towns of El Palmar, Canos de Meca and Conil 10-20 minutes away with miles of undeveloped golden beaches inbetween. The historic & cultural towns of Jerez, Seville, Ronda & Cadiz (to name just a few!) are also from 40 mins to a day trip distance. Morocco (Tangiers) is also just an hour or so away, door-to-door including the sea-cat.
