An hour's drive from both Pisa and Florence airports and an hour and half from Bologna airport. There are direct road links to Lucca and Pistoia.

Getting around
Although it is preferable to have a car to explore this region of Tuscany, it is possible to get around on public transport. There are a couple of buses in the village that will take you to San Marcello Pistoiese and down to Pistoia. In Pistoia and Lucca you can take the train to Florence and beyond. Trenitalia, the Italian train service is excellent and economical. They have an app. which works extremely well. Highly recommended to get around!
