How to get there
At the airport you can already rent your four wheel drive for your stay or just take a taxi. Parking your car on the property is free of course. Being in your home away from home, you can also take use of the exotic local transport, the tuc-tuc for short trips. You take a taxi from the airport or use the cheap buses who are leaving and arriving every half an hour in and from Masatepe. A lot of visitors find our place like a relaxing stay during their tour around the country or simply stay at our place and do some day trips, being home before dark.
Villas vista Masaya is a hidden place, so ask Joop or Nel to pick you up in front of the central catholic church at the central park of Masatepe. Just let us know your arrival time at the park.

Getting around
Your home is close to all the other pueblos blancos of the meseta, where the climate is cooler. The people of Managua like to come here on Sunday to buy from the local artisan people and to have lunch in a restaurant. You will find a lot of small villages, like Catarina with small outside shops with plants. Just on the other side of the main road to the volcano Mombacho you find San Juan del Oriente with a lot of pottery shops. In Niquinohomo Sandino was born. A small museum tells the story of Sandino. These villages are close by. You can do a day trip to the volcanos Masaya or Mombacho, go to historical and famous town of Granada, Masaya with the artisan market and even the beach is only an hour drive from Villasvistamasaya.
