How to get there
By air:
Derry airport – flights from Stansted (Ryanair) - 1 hours drive
Belfast City airport – flights from Cardiff / London City (Flybe) - 2.5 hours drive
Belfast International aiport – flights from Gatwick (Easyjet/ Ryanair), Bristol (Ryanair) - 2.5 hours drive
Dublin airport – many routes - 4 hours drive.
We use Kings Car hire if flying into Northern Ireland but usual car rental companies are at all airports.
Bus Eireann has an express bus that leaves Dublin airport for Letterkenny every 2 hours.

Getting around
Unless you are a dedicated cyclist, you will want a car; there isn't many options for public transport to get around. But Glebe Cottage is on the west of Fanad peninsula so it is quick to cross to Downings using the bridge so is an ideal location for exploring all there is to do and see in this part of Donegal.
