How to get there
Costa Rica has two international airports and many airlines offer nonstop or connecting flights to the two airports.
Liberia (Daniel Oduber) airport is only about 90 minutes by car from the property. Halfway through the drive, the road winds through some of Costa Rica's most scenic highlands.
The second airport, San Jose (Juan Santamaria), is about 4 hours away by car.
Shuttle services and car rental options are available at the two airports.

Getting around
The beach is only a few minutes walk from the property and Samara's multicultural bars, restaurants and shops are within a ten minutes leisurely stroll along the beach. Having a car is not critical but is usually convenient for exploring the area, visiting other nearby beaches, shopping, and for night outings. Licensed local taxis and tour vans are also available. Local activities include boat tours, horseback riding, canopy tours, surfing, rafting, diving, trail biking, ultra-light flights, bird watching, and deep-sea fishing. Volcano and hot springs discovery day trips are also available.
