How to get there
Cars are cheap and easy to hire at the airport
Shuttle buses are also available to/from Denver International airport. There are an array of private transport companies providing very regular shuttle van services (ie every hour), or private transfers between the Denver airport and your Breckenridge accommodation.
It's also possible to get a (Greyhound) bus from the airport to Frisco, and then use the Summit Stage coach bus to get to Breckenridge.
If flying from distance, there are some very convenient hotels both in Denver and around the airport, which will assist in acclimatizing overnight before heading up to the mountains. Ask us for suggestions.
The Breckenridge ski resort sits above and to the west of the town of Breckenridge, Colorado.

Getting around
Car not necessary when in the Resort. Free call-up Shuttle Bus from Grand Timber Lodge around the town. Daily buses to other Summit County ski resorts including Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone, etc. For maximum flexibility, a car is advisable though, especially if you plan on skiing all resorts on the 'all mountain' ski pass. These are cheap and easy to hire at the airport.
