How to get there
Napier airport is only about 25 minutes drive from Tuki Vineyard Cottage. The airport has two airlines (Air NZ and Jetstar) with multiple flights from Auckland. Jetstar is the regional low cost carrier so it only costs around $39 (US$28) to fly from Auckland. It's a 50 minute flight.
If coming from Wellington, most people drive. It takes around 4 hours. And for guests arriving from Taupo by car, the drive is just over 2 hours. Once you get to the area, Tuki Vineyard Cottage is very easy to find and get to, with private off-street parking.

Getting around
Since the cottage is located amongst vineyards in the countryside immediately beside Havelock North village, some guests hire pushbikes from a local company that can drop them off, but most guests also have a car. You can certainly walk to the café easily and also to a couple of neighbouring wineries that offer tastings at their cellar doors (Te Mata Estate and Akarangi Winery). Taxis are inexpensive to local restaurants or to and from Havelock North village if required.
