We are in a remote area of Sabang. It is a 10 to 15 min walk from the van terminal. The road is partly in bad condition and parts are without light in the night. You can hire a tricycle to get you there for just 50 Peso. We offer a flashlight.

Important note: What you can expect and what you can not expect

Dear guests, you are booking a cottage for 20 EUR/25 USD per night. Please dont expect a 5 star hotel. If you want aircon and room service please book Sheridans, only this is 8 times more expensive. Sabang has no electrical power supply except private generators!

What we do not have: Fridge, Aircon, Roomservice, Transport Service. Sometimes the Wifi does not work because the signal is not stable, we can not do anything about that. Sometimes in the morning the electricity can shut down because we use solar with limited power (depending on the weather). The road to our place is dark and in pretty bad conditions. Sorry we can not do anything about that and still wait for the authority to fix it. We are located 10 to 15 min from the center. Our queensize bed is modern and confortable.

What you can expect:

We try our best to make it as convenient as possible. We are family owned and do anything to make your stay nice and feel welcome and confortable. We are always develop the place to make it more nice. Comparing the other cottages/huts in Sabang we offer you a new spacious cottage, with nice large bathroom and large view-terrasse. We are the only ones to have solar, so we provide you with carbonfree energy, 24/7! All other places use noisy generators and shut them down after 9 pm (which means: no more energy/lights until morning!). Only the two 5 star hotels provide energy because of their large diesel generators. We have only 12 V but you can load your mobiles. We have a TV (no place in Sabang beside the expensive hotels provides a TV) and we have moskito net on all windows and on the bed. Our aircon is the fresh breeze from the sea, which is more nice, more silent and more ecofriendly. If you expect to stay in a more luxury place: please look for the expensive hotels.

Important note to everybody going to Underground River: You need to get a permit for the entrance. This permit you can only get in Puerto Princesa City! (not in Sabang at the harbour or at the Underground River! - weird, but its like that) and personal appearance is required. The best is to stay one night in the city before moving to Sabang.
