How to get there
Hollyhock Cottage is one of a collection of cottages located in the 5 acre grounds of historic Lodge Farm parts of which date back to 1635, in the small medieval Hamlet of Aunby. PE9 4EE will bring you up the drive to the cottages at the top, as we are not found on many maps.
The B1176 runs from Ryhall to Careby and Aunby is signposted off about half way between the two. As you follow the single track road take the first left into Lodge Farm, you will see the Clematis Cottage sign on your left.
Getting around
It is advisable to have a car at hand as the local public transport only runs every other hour. Stamford does however have its own train station where you can catch a train to take you to Peterborough and on to London, or Stanstead airport in one direction or Oakham and onto Birmingham in the other direction.
