How to get there
Easy to find ON the A689 mid way between Stanhope 10 miles and Alston 10 miles .One mile out side the village of Cowshill gong towards Alston on the lhe right hand side of the road .The cottage is 100 yards up the farm access
Getting around
Bus go from Cowshil to Alston in the summer months and the Lake district only 29 miles away .There is also a bus service from Cowshill to Stanhope during week days that goes down the dale. Weardale Way foot path at the bottom of the fields . C to C cycle route goes past the bottom of our farm Wonder full walking at Burnhope Res just 3 k away
