How to get there

Traveling from the M57 / M58 (switch island).

From the traffic lights at the end of Switch Island, which forms the termination of the M57 / M58, enter the A5758, Brooms Cross Road, traveling in a westerly direction. Continue to the end of the A5758 going straight ahead at the roundabout following the road to join the A565 signposted Southport in a north westerly direction. Follow the A565 for approximately 3 miles passing through two roundabouts. Immediately before a pelican crossing which has a Chinese restaurant on the left and a church on the right, turn right onto Staveley Road. Tudor cottage is number 18 on the right four houses down from the crossroad which intersects Staveley.

Getting around

Traveling from the North. From junction 26 of the M6 join the M58. From the end of the M58 proceed as above. Alternatively leave the M58 at junction 3 onto the A570 for Southport/Ormskirk/St Helens onto a roundabout exiting at junction 3 north. In 500 yards take the first exit a 2nd roundabout onto the A570. Stay on the A570 for 3.5 miles then turn left onto the A5147 Gorsuch Lane. Follow the A5147 for approximately three miles then bear right onto a B road, Carr Moss Lane, at a mini roundabout with a petrol station on the right. Continue for approximately 3.5 miles to a T junction and turn left onto Segars Lane. Follow to the end and turn left. Staveley Rd is on the left over the roundabout, past the village green on the right
