LOCAL: beach within a 13 minutes` walk, rental bikes, rental flat bottom sailing with captain, billiards & darts, golf, cruising one day on the Dutch IJsselmeer and there are silent boats for rent. Favourite local restaurants are Four Seasons and Posthoorn. 2. Ancient FISHERY VILLAGES: Marken (11 km), Volendam (13 km), Edam (18 km), Enkhuizen (45 km), Medemblik (50 km).
