Ideally Lisbon Airport is the closest to fly into. Then you can either rent a car or catch the Rede Expressos coach from Lisboa Sete Rios to Castelo de Vide. Get the Rede Expressos APP, or go on line for the time table. If you are unsure I will help you plan you journey here.

If you are driving and coming from the direction of Portalegre, Lisbon, Castelo Branco when approaching Castelo de Vide on the A246, follow directions to the town centre second exit at roundabout (‘5 fish water fountains’ on the right), next RaB take 3rd exit , a Fire Station on your left, there is a sharp turn right..TURN LEFT here and follow the top road, sighed to S.Tiago Church. You will pass the church on your right, carry on until you see a ‘right’ bend road sign. Slow down and signal left (Large green bin) and turn into the car park (Penedo Monteiro) Park here – Vivenda S.Tiago is directly across the road with two white pillars adorning eagles above!

From Spain follow the N246 to Castelo de Vide, pass Pingo Dose on the left, enter roundabout, take the second exit, and at the 3rd roundabout take first right into Castelo de Vide. *Follow instructions from above.
