How to get there
Most travelers fly into Tocumen International Airport in Panama City. You can fly from PC to Chitre and take off about 4 hours of ground travel time or take the big bus from Albrook Terminal from PC direct to Las Tablas the cultural center of Panama. At 1PM daily from the Tonosi Terminal in Las Tablas a bus leaves that will take you to your doorstep. The driver knows the 2-story sea blue house on the beach. Or, you can rent a car at Tocumen they will give you a map pointing out Cambutal. It's a 7 hour drive deep into the Interior or maybe break it up with a fun night in Las Tablas.
Getting around
We have a couple of bicycles for our guests to ride around the Cambutal, Los Buzos fishing village areas. There's a small market with canned and packaged foods and beverages approx. 1 mile from the house. Almost everything is in walking distance for most folks. Tonosi is 15 miles away where there are 3 mini-super markets with fresh meats, veggies, etc, hardware and other stores. A local bus goes to Tonosi twice daily from your doorstep. The Interior of Panama is a very laid back slow paced part of the world. The people are friendly, warm and gentle almost to a person.
