By rail: Hampton Court station is just 300 metres away with trains every 30 minutes to/from London Waterloo.
By road: easy access from the M3 motorway and A3 and the M25 London orbital motorway.
Airports: Heathrow airport is 13 miles - best to take a taxi. Gatwick airport is around 45 minutes by road and around the same on the train via Clapham junction rail interchange.

You may not ever need a car as transport links are so good, especially into London for work or play. But if you want to venture further afield then it's under an hour's drive to many other attractions, such as Windsor Castle, and not much more to the beaches of the south coast.
