How to get there
There is parking for 2 cars. For Sat Nav, the postcode is DG11 2LH.
From the south:
Exit the M74 at junction 17 and take first left at the second roundabout. After aprox 1 mile turn right (signposted for Boreland) and right again. *Follow this road for 5 miles until you reach Boreland. As you enter the village, the village hall is situated to your left. Turn right directly opposite and follow this single track road to the dead end. Riverside Cottage is the second property.
From the north:
Exit the M74 at junction 16 and take the exits at the roundabouts for Lockerbie and turn left to join the B7076 south (heading for Lockerbie). After 5 miles turn left (signposted for Boreland) and then right. Now follow directions from * above.

Getting around
Given the rural location of the cottage a car is recommended. However, trains frequently stop in Lockerbie and, if we were around, we could collect guests from the station. There is a bus service into Lockerbie and back 4 times a day, with connections to other towns available.
