How to get there

Arriving by Road.Take the M5 to Exeter and then either the A30 via Okehampton, Launceston, Bodmin to St Merryn or the A38 via Plymouth, Saltash, Liskeard to Bodmin and then to St Merryn.If you take A30, by pass Bodmin and take the exit to Victoria. Go through Victoria and over the A30 and continue until you get to the A39 Wadebridge roundabout. Arriving by FerryThe nearest port is Plymouth which is approximately 50 miles away. The ferry service is provided by Brittany Ferries. (We speak French and Spanish so are happy for enquiries in these languages).Arriving by Air.The nearest airport is Newquay which is about 10 miles from St Merryn. Air South West, Ryan Air, BMI Baby, Skybus and FlyBe operate services from many British and European cities.Turn right on the A39 and continue to the next roundabout sign posted to Padstow and St Merryn. Follow signs to St Merryn and Point Curlew.Arriving by Bus.There are buses from Bodmin Parkway station, via Wadebridge, to Padstow. There is also a service from Padstow to St Merryn which passes Point Curlew site.

Getting around

A car is necessary. However from the village of St Merryn there is a very good bus service to Padstow and Newquay, This is very useful if planning to walk the coastal path, Cycles can be hired in Padstow to cycle the Camel trail to Wadebridge and Bodmin. There is a ferry from Padstow to Rock.
