How to get there

Getting to the Island

Coach: You can get to the ferry terminals at Southampton and Portsmouth via National Express coaches from London Victoria and Heathrow.

Train: South Western Railway will bring you to Portsmouth Docks, Southampton and Lymington, where you can get ferries to the Island.

Ferry: There are frequent boats from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington. We’ll give our visitors a 15% discount code to use when you book your ferry travel with Red Funnel. You can also book with Wightlink and Hovertravel.

Getting to Shanklin

Train: The Island Line runs from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin. You can get a taxi outside Shanklin station to your holiday home.

Bus: It’s easy to get to Shanklin by bus through the Island Buses network, and then it’s a 5 minute walk to The Seascape if you take the number 3 route but up a steep hill. Please contact us for more

Getting around

The Island Line train runs from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin with two services per hour. Shanklin station is a 20 minute walk from the station but beware, Luccombe road is on a steep hill following the line of the cliff. There is a good bus service on the island with Shanklin being served primarily by the 2 and 3. The number 3 bus stops to Shanklin, Sandown, and Ryde (travelling north) and to Ventnor, Godshill and Newport (travelling south) are a five minute walk from The Seascape.
