How to get there
You can easily get a taxi from the Ixtapa/Zihautanejo Airport up to Troncones. It is about 20 to 30 minute drive north. You can also rent a car and drive up. The drive is easy on newly paved highway and is a straight shot north up to the Troncones turn off. There is parking at the Residences.

Getting around
You can eaisly get a taxi from the Ixtapa/Zihautanejo Airport up to Troncones. It is about 20 to 30 minutes north. You can also rent a car and drive up. The drive is easy on newly paved highway. Once there, you don't need a car if you just want to hang at the beach. There are good restaurants within walking distance, you can also take ride bikes to town center or take a taxi. The town is small, but has some good local dining options. The town basically has the feel of a small, off the path, surf town.
