How to get there
You can fly in through Denver International Airport and either take a shuttle service or rent a car to get to Estes Park.
If you are driving into town you can come through a number of routes:
- From the south you can go Route 36 through Lyons/Boulder or Route 7 from Boulder/Nederland on the beautiful Peak to Peak Highway.
- From the north you can take Route 34 through Loveland and the Thompson Canyon.
- From the west you can take Trail Ridge Road from Winter Park/ Grand Lake.
All of the routes to Estes Park are beautiful and equally amazing.

Getting around
Sunrise Ridge is within walking distance of nearly everything downtown. Estes Park has shuttle service to and from Rocky Mountain National Park and buses around town. You will likely only need a car to get to Estes Park and to get food at the grocery store. Speaking of grocery stores, you would do well to pick up groceries on the Front Range, prior to heading up the mountain. While the local grocery store does have everything you will need it is rather expensive and always crowded during the summer months.
