Taxis cost about $2 to anywhere in zone one or you can hope on a combi mini bus for 7 pesos that serve every part of the city and the surrounding villages. For longer trips there is a first class bus service that connects to all parts of Mexico and beyond. In addition there are plenty of tour operators that will take you to the varied sights both locally and as far as Guatemala. There are a few car and scooter rentals and a variety of bike rentals scattered around the city. All in all transport plentiful and inexpensive.
