How to get there
Please note that Rua Bela is a one-way and narrow road where on-street parking is not possible.
Yet, there is free on-street parking in the nearby streets and in all neighbourhood except in the waterfront, including in Jardim do Passeio Alegre which is just down the street.
There is free parking in the waterfront streets only during working days (from 7pm to 9 am) and on weekends and bank holidays (during the whole day).
Getting around
The historical city centre is just 15 minutes away by public transportation. There are several options to get there! In case you like to bike, enjoy the lovely ride along the stunning riverfront. Otherwise, both the bus stop (#500 bus) and the taxi rank are just a 1 minute walk while the vintage tram stop (#1 tram) is a 5 minute walk.
