How to get there
We are fairly easy to find. Get to Eleftherna and ask for Julie's house. Google maps isn't reliable on this location even though I've tried to rectify it. We've recently renamed the guest house from Julie's house to The Arches, Eleftherna so ask for me and everyone knows where we are.
On booking you'll get my phone number and if you get lost we'll come and help.
You can park in the square, in the garden, or round the corner near the church. We can store bikes and motorcycles safely in the main garden.
Getting around
The new museum has recently opened in the village so there's plenty to see. This is a traditional village where life is at a different pace to the areas of Crete near to the beach. The villagers are friendly and welcoming and if you show an interest in them they will be pleased to chat to you. Maybe not in your language, but you will manage to communicate with them. I have never found a nicer or friendlier group of people than those in the village which we are proud to be a part of. You won't want to leave.
