Bohinjska Bistrica is approximately 45 minutes from the airport, so car rental is highly recommended.

Turn left out of the airport, then in 500m or so, turn left heading towards the motorway (E61). Within 1000m take the right turn on to the motorway, signposted to Jesenice.

After approximately 20km take the exit 3 signposted for Bled & Lesce. Following the road through Bled, circling the Lake, then continue on towards Lake Bohinj & Bohinjska Bistrica.
