How to get there
By air: There are daily scheduled flights from "Eleutherios Venizelos" Athens International Airport to "Nikos Kazantzakis" Heraklion International Airport. Charter flights from most European destinations arrive from April to November to the airport.
By Sea: Daily itineraries link the port of Heraklion with the port of Piraeus (Athens).
By bus: There are daily and frequent bus services connecting Heraklion with the main towns and villages of the entire prefecture as well as with the towns of Chania and Rethymnon.

There is a convenient public bus service, the bus stop is 200 meters form the apartment. Access to and from Rethymnon is also possible by taxi and rented car.
