How to get there
The nearest railhead is Kathgodam and it takes around 2 hrs to reach my cottage.Taxi can pe provided on prior intimation.There are a number of tourist places nearby and the place is called the fruit bowl of Kumaon.

There are a number of places of tourist interest,Mukteshwar temple(approx 300 yrs old perched on a hillock),Chauli ki jaali,Bhalugaad waterfalls,Indian veterinary research institute,ghorakhal tea estates.The area also has adventure activities like zip line,paragliding,rappelling,rock climbing.The area is also famous for bird watching.
