How to get there
The nearest ferry port is Yarmouth - you can book a ferry with Wightlink from Lymington. It's a 10/15 minute drive to the house.
Ferries also run from Southampton to Cowes (book with Red Funnel) - about 30 minutes from the house.
And Wightlink also run a car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne - 40 minutes from the house.
There is plenty of parking space at the house.
You'll find the house just up from Freshwater Bay opposite the golf course, the last house on the sea side with colourful buoys along the fence outside.

Getting around
It's easiest to get around with a car but there is a bus service and if you're a keen walker or cyclist you can get a taxi to the house from the ferry. There is a small grocery store and cafe about a 15 minute walk away. The main supermarket in freshwater is about a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. There's a great pub for lunch and dinner about a half hour walk away.
