Getting around
Getting around The New Alipore petrol pump and police station are just around the corner (5 min walk) including the train/bus station. The Rabrindra Sarobar and Kalighat metro stations are 5-10 minutes (via a shuttle auto or taxi) away depending on traffic. You can catch the auto shuttle or bus from either the petrol pump or from behind the house – in front of Hindustan Sweets. There is also a taxi station at the petrol pump if you need something immediately. You can always use Uber or Ola on your phone. The New Alipore railway station is also right across from our house.
