How to get there
If arriving from the U.K., the easiest way to reach the château is via the Channel Tunnel. Taking the Eurostar, from London St Pancras and then a taxi or hire car, takes just two hours. Driving is also quick from the U.K. - reaching the house takes three hours from Junction 5 of the M25.
From Lille, both the station and airport are about an hour away.
Paris is a two and a half hour drive.
There are good road connections to Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Getting around
A car is highly recommended. The house is convenient for the Channel Tunnel and the ferries that arrive at Calais. Calais Frethun and Lille are the nearest major rail stations. The nearest airports are in Lille, Brussels and Paris. There is a taxi company in the village.
