How to get there
A24 leads directly in to Findon Village high street. Turn right up Bost Hill and follow the windy road, taking the first left at the top of the hill. Windmill Cottage is set on the corner of Furze Road and Mill Lane.
Or from A27 in the direction of Worthing. Turn left at the Durrington Lane/Salvington cross roads on to Salvington Hill. Follow the road to the top and bear right along Furze Road.
Windmill Colttage is set on the corner of Mill Lane, just past Salvington Windmill.
Getting around
The closest train station is West Worthing. A 30 minute walk or 10 minute car drive. Trains take you to Brighton and Hove. Cosmopolitan Brighton with plenty of shops and cafes and restaurants not forgetting the famous North and South Lanes for curiosity shops and many jewellery shops. Worthing is a pretty sea town again with many shops and cafes. The Pier is worthy of a stroll and the beaches are beautiful. Arundel is 15 minutes by car and Chichester 30 minutes. There is a bus stop (7) on Furze Road taking you to Worthing and local taxi ranks. High Salvington has a handy corner convenience store and post office. Loads of beautiful and scenic walks and bridleways for those who like to walk or exercise their animals.
