Getting to the Island

Coach: You can get to the ferry terminals at Southampton and Portsmouth via National Express coaches from London Victoria and Heathrow.

Train: South Western Railway will bring you to Portsmouth Docks, Southampton and Lymington, where you can get ferries to the Island.

Ferry: There are frequent boats from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington. We’ll give our visitors a 15% discount code to use when you book your ferry travel with Red Funnel. You can also book with Wightlink and Hovertravel.

Getting to Shanklin

Train: The Island Line runs from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin. You can get a taxi outside Shanklin station to your holiday home.

Bus: It’s easy to get to Shanklin by bus through the Island Buses network, and then it’s a 5 minute walk to Dove Court . Please contact us for more local information.

You can also travel around the Island using public transport. Check out the open-top Shanklin Steamer bus and the Island Coaster bus that will take you around the dramatic South coast.
