How to get there
Manava Tahara'a homestay is located on the east coast of the island of Tahiti Nui. Leaving the Faa'a airport take direction from Papeete (east) by the RDO (motorway), then take the road along the waterfront, through Papeete by Prince Hinoi Avenue (main avenue 2x2), continue the road through and Pirae Arue, climb Tahara'a neck then back down at the small roundabout turn right and climb to the top. Getting around
Rent a car or motorcycle is ideal for quick access to the nearest shopping (2kms). Its position on the hills requires good physical condition for people who want to walk (20 minutes) or bike (about 20 minutes).
