Getting around
In the winter, so you can reach Järvsö in just over an hour, Gavle on the hour and recreation area in Söderhamn in about 20 minutes. It is about 10km to a very nice and popular island restaurant, Axmarbrygga. At Axmarbrygga is also a nice preserved hut, café and shady park to walk in. In Ljusne, about 7 km to the north, are heated outdoor pools with slides summer, pizza shop and pharmacy.
