Visitors to Long Island initially fly into Nassau, which is the hub for the Bahamas. From there it's a 45-minute flight into either Deadman's Cay or Stella Maris airports. They are roughly equidistant from Grotto Bay. We recommend taking Bahamas Air but Southern Air Charter is another choice.

Stella Maris Resort also has charter flights serving Nassau and the Stella Maris airport. This is a particularly good option if your arrival into Nassau is late and you cannot book on one of the other carriers. These flights typically leave late in the afternoon. You should allow at least 1 1/2 hours in Nassau to collect bags, go through immigration and customs, then recheck bags for the flight to Long Island. Two hours are even better.
