How to get there
Turn right out of cathedral main entrance. Right at edge of cathedral green. Straight on for 400 m. Cottage on right. Bus stop 50 m down street. For driving, search Fountain Inn, Wells: cottage is 100 m up St Thomas Street on right. Park outside or in Millers gardens, accessed from north road opposite church. Short pathway at bottom comes out opposite cottage - only takes 2 mins!

Getting around
You can easily do without a car in Wells. Transport service via bus is excellent. Bath bus stop just down the street from cottage with hourly service. Wells bus station opposite Tesco Store 10 mins walk, with links to Bristol, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Taunton etc. Castle Cary railway station 20 mins drive with direct line to London and the South coast.
