The village offers a beautiful landscape with mountains, volcanic craters, hiking trails and natural pools The fishing village of Calheta is located in the southern part of the island, about 1 km away and is easily accessible on foot. The small natural harbor with beautiful clear water gives you the opportunity for swimming, diving and fishing. Changing rooms with toilet and shower are available as well as a small cafe and restaurant. In the village there is a small supermarket.
