The Nicaraguan adress is as follows: Del Hotel Victoriano, 1 cuadra al sur (Hotel Sunset), 1 cuadra al este (Nica Fish - entrada barrio Camilo Ortega/La Planta), 1.5 cuadra al sur, portón de metal mano izquierda.

Driving on your own or walking from the market/bus stop (its a 400m walk, 7-10 minutes), go straight to the sea, until you reach the sea promenade (the “Malecon”). Turn left and walk towards the building of CLARO, approx. 300m (there is a huge antenna). Pass this building and turn left at the first street on your left (Hotel Sunset), at the top turn right (this is the Camilo Ortega neighborhood entrance) and continue 1.5 block until you see an iron gate and a red round wooden cabin on your left. This is the parking entrance.

The caretaker is normally at the end of the parking in our carpenter workshop or working in the garden or at the bottom left of the big house Lobotepe on the hill.

A taxi from the market/busstop in San Juan del Sur to Cabanas Lobotepe costs 20 Córdoba’s pp. A private taxi (max 4 pp) from the border costs $25, from Rivas $15-20 and from San Jorge (where the ferry from Ometepe lands) $20-25. A shared taxi (taxi colectivo) from Rivas costs 50cds to the market of San Juan and 70cds directly to Cabañas Lobolira.
